1. What is Microsoft Edge?

Microsoft Edge is a web browser developed by Microsoft. When everybody was not happy with the performance of Internet Explorer and though Microsoft enhanced the performance features on the Internet Explorer, users weren't happy about the product. Microsoft needed to re-brand the entire product and relaunch as a different product named Microsoft Edge.

Microsoft Edge was fast and had many performance improvements where it was capable enough to use in the smartphones also. Microsoft made the Microsoft Edge as the default browser in Windows 10 Operating system, Windows 10 Mobile Operating system, and Xbox One consoles too.

2. History

The initial release of the Microsoft Edge on 29th July 2015. From the initial release, Microsoft made continuous changes to make the web browser hit to the top of ceiling in the web browsers. Microsoft made releases of the web browser focusing on each and every operating system which includes mobile operating systems also.

3. Versions

Microsoft has published multiple versions focusing on the desktop, server, and mobile platforms for Microsoft Edge software to keep the user engagement smoother as possible.
