By using Apple Wallet, users can almost go digital wallets to make their lives easy and efficient without worrying about the physical wallets and managing cash and etc...

2. History

Apple Wallet was announced on 11th June 2012 at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference also known as the WWDC. Apple released the initial release of the Apple Wallet on 19th September 2012 with iOS 6. Initially, Apple Wallet was named as the Apple Passbook and Apple renamed the product to Apple Wallet later with the features which flew into the product.
