Daihatsu was formed in 1st of March 1951 as a restructuring of the Hatsudoki Seizo Co., Ltd which was founded in 1907. Daihatsu operates as a subsidiary company of Toyota. Daihatsu also owns a 25% share of the Perodua currently. Daihatsu and currently headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
