1. What is Safari?

Safari a web browser developed by Apple Inc. Safari Browser was introduced to the Mac OS platform users to browse the internet. With Apple's movement to develop mobile and handheld device operating systems, Apple made Safari as the primary and the default web browser on the iOS and all possible Apple developed operating systems.

Safari is the second largest used web browser which comes to 16.72% of the world's web browser users.

2. History

Safari was initially released by Apple on 7th January 2003. Before Safari web browser, Apple Inc put other web browsers including internet explorer into the Mac operating system.
