2. History

Korean Air was founded by the South Korean Government in 1946. In 1969 Airline was fully privatized by the Korean Government and Korean Air is operated by the Hanjin Group. Korean Air is currently traded publicly on the Korean Stock Exchange and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
