Google Pay was released on 11th September 2015 in the annual Google I/O event. Google Pay is a service which got succeeded by a previous version of the wallet by Google which was known as Google Wallet and which was released to public use in 2011.Google Wallet used a third-party carrier back-end named Softcard and Google acquired the intellectual property rights in February 2015.
3. Supported Countries
Google Pay doesn't support all the countries in the world. It does support selected countries where the central bank regulations are agreeable and the government approval required for monetary transactions.4. Supported Payment Methods/ Networks
