General Motors is an American Automobile Manufacture company which does manufacture pickup trucks, SUVs, cars in the majority. GM owns the bands including Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac. GM does have joint ventures where GM manufactures vehicles in 37 countries globally.

GM is one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world and the largest automobile manufacturer in the USA. GM's Chevy brand is one of the most used car brands in the USA.

2. History

General Motors also knew as GM in short was founded by William C. Durant, Charles Swewart Mott, and Frederic L. Smith on 16th September 1908. GM currently operates as a publicly-traded company in the New York Stock Exchange. GM is currently headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
