1. What is Evernote?

Evernote is an application that can be accessed by using the website, Android phone, Apple iOS devices, and Microsoft Windows devices which can take notes, organizing, task lists, and archiving of a person's daily requirements faster and easier.

Evernote also can store and take voice memos and it's embedded with a whole bunch of features that can keep an individual or a busy person as productive as possible.

2. History

Evernote is founded by Stepan Pachikov and they have launched the open beta version of Evernote on 24th June 2008. Evernote had an 11 million user base in July 2011. Evernote has raised US$ 20 million funding round by DoCoMo Capital with Morgenthaler Ventures and Sequoia Capital and the company also raised an additional US$ 50 million of funding led by Sequoia Capital.

Evernote currently operates as a private company and currently headquartered in Redwood City, California, USA.
