History
DJI is founded by Wang Tao also known as Frank Wang in 2006. After enrolling in the University of Hong Kong of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2003, Wang has received 2,300USD to conduct research and develop a drone. At that moment, Wang started building the company from his dorm room in HKUST.In the initial stage of the company, it was recognized as the Da-Jiang Innovation or Da-Jiang Sciences and it became DJI later in a shorter form.
DJI is based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, and serving its products globally by being a private company.
