Bluetooth 1.0 is the very first introduction to the technology of Bluetooth. The Bluetooth transceiver was introduced to the general public as a technological device that supports Bluetooth 1.0 with the initial release.
Technology
Bluetooth 1.0 uses an ultra-high frequency or UFH signals in the frequency range 2.4GHz to 2.485GHz. With version 1.0 of Bluetooth, the wireless technology was able to send a small-sized file to lesser distance and mostly considered as a personal area network or PAN network type device.
The Bluetooth devices back in the time needed a separate driver CD to install the drivers which needed the Bluetooth device or the dongle to operate.
The Bluetooth dongles were able to connect to the computer by using the USB sockets on the computer.
