History
AMD is founded by Jerry Sanders on the 1st of May 1969. The name AMD is a shortened version of the Advanced Micro Devices. AMD is publicly traded on NASDAQ under the code of "AMD". AMD acquired ATI Technologies on 24th July 2006 to extend the presence of AMD into the graphic processing.Products
