Tesla Model S 1st generation fully electric car catches fire in Shanghai, China in an underground parking spot. Building surveillance cameras have recorded the incident from the very beginning. Initially, Tesla is a normal car that was parked next to an Audi and little while the car starts smoking underneath the car. Then within seconds, the smokes turn into flames which were originated from underneath the car.

Along with this incident, This was the 5th major case which was reported in China as an EV got into flames manufactured by multiple organizations. However, Tesla has responded to the incident and sent a team to investigate the Shanghai incident.
